  Perdidos del mundo! Justo lo q buscábamos!

  Maravilloso lugar, atención y la comida absolutamente deliciosa. En plena playa. Disfrutamos al máximo de nuestra estancia en Diani Beach. Aunque las habitaciones se han quedado algo antiguas el resto es espectacular!

  Feeling indolent, lurch from meal to meal?

  The best part was the chef. He cooked up amazing food, and catering to some of our more idiosyncratic requests. We did not stray from seafood and vegetarian options, and in the latter there was some of the better Indian food I've tasted. The rest of the staff were decent. They tried their best but there were obvious gaps in their professionalism. The welcome to the hotel was slightly awkward and left us feeling unsure what to do. Waiter service was ok, but not great. We were a large group, so I can understand that creates complexity for what seemed to be an understaffed hotel (because of covid, I expect). There are really no facilities at the hotel other than beds by the small pool and beds overlooking the ocean. Even the board detailing tides and activities seemed to be stuck on a day long past. So if you like some activity in your vacation, you may want to look elsewhere. If you want to be lazy and do nothing, this could be a good place. The beach is a public beach, and you can try to negotiate activities with some of the beach boys - mangrove forest canoe trip, glass boat, camel rides, etc. The rooms are very nice. No need to get an ocean view room unless you plan to spend time in your room instead of on the beach or by the pool. Wifi was pretty good everywhere.

  Amazing stay af afrochic

  We had a pleasant stay at Afrochic recently. We were given a warm welcome & an easy check in process. The boutique hotel is very cosy & superb service by the team there. The room is well equipped with all the amenities & great view of the sea. The food is just outstanding & must say we have had the best food ever in Diani. The chef was amazing & would also go out of the way to make food off the menu. Well done & thank you to Afrochic & their team !!!! We shall meet soon again.

  A Gem!

  AfroChic is a hidden gem in Diani. We've visited Diani on several occasions but AfroChic was a wonderful surprise! It's a small boutique hotel and is just absolutely beautiful! Apart from the location and beautiful surroundings, the staff at AfroChic are the ones that are the "cherry on top"! Attentive, efficient, fun and just beautiful people. The food is delicious and nothing feels rushed...just total relaxation under the palm trees of Diani.

  Could not have stayed at a better hotel

  It's hard to describe AfroChic as a hotel because it's really more like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like part of the family, from the manager Joab through to the askaris, the service we received was exceptional and it's just not possible (or fair) to single out one member of staff for special mention. The hotel is very relaxed with no dress code, it's right on the beautiful beach and whilst we had great plans for an active holiday, we ended up doing nothing more than laying on the day beds, swimming in the sea and strolling on the beach. The head chef Massoud met with us daily to go through the menu - all meals are made fresh to order - he prepared several meals off the menu for us and each was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back...
