  Our favourite hotel in Greece!

  We all loved Afkos Grammos Hotel. From the facilities to the staff, everything was excellent. The hotel manager Anastasia and her staff were always willing to help. It was a pleasure to meet and chat with the owner Paul. This Greek hotel was our favourite in Greece - with a touch of Australia!

  Still the Best Hotel Resort in Greece

  Stayed for one week with wife and grandson. World class facility nestled in an eco friendly environment which includes genuine Greek fine dining, superb buffet breakfast and casual coffee, mezethes etc. during the day. Management and staff are very professional and have the knack of anticipating ones needs and expectations. Attention to detail in all facets of customer service is a highlight. Perfectly located near the village of Nestorio away from traffic noises, industry and other annoying distractions. Its a stress and anxiety killer. Excellent hi speed free wifi. Staff arranges almost any need upon request. The Hotel Resort is a hidden gem that I will revisit when next in Greece. By the way one gets special rates if bookings are completed direct with Hotel Resort via the internet.

  A Hidden Gem:)

  Located in a village called Nestorio, this place is amazing. It has breathtaking views and there are quite a few things to do once you find your way. The service at the hotel is five stars. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Its very clean, safe and family friendly. The food is absolutely delicious and much of it is straight from the farm to the table. Wander off into the village and you will find the people very friendly, helpful and hospitable. There are a few places to eat, drink and people watch. There are plenty of hiking trails. The city of Kastoria is about 20 minutes away and offers interesting shopping, ie cheese and sweet shops, furs, icons. It takes about 2-2.5 hours to get there by taxi from Thessaloniki. Most of all, this place is extremely peaceful and rejuvenating. It is definitely worth the time and money.

  Magical experience

  Absolute luxury surrounded by exceptional views. A time to rest and relax. Located near the village of Nestorio and 20 kms from Kastoria city. Easy to transfer between city and hotel. Quiet and serene countryside. Luxurious, clean rooms. Like home away from home with all amenities. Pool, gym and spa all available. Pool is fabulous with out door bar offering drinks and food. Restaurant food is very good. All staff very helpful and attentive to your needs.Friendly and charming owners.Highly recommend a stay here.

  Unexpected quality

  We spent two nights at the Afkos Grammos Hotel Resort. It is not the kind of hotel that you would expect to find in mountainous northern Greece. It fully deserves its four stars, if not more, Everything about this hotel is impressive. The reception and the area around it are decorated by wonderful items, most of them expensive pieces brought from Morocco. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, the people working there, and not just at the reception, make you feel welcome and attend to all your needs with a smile. The rooms are bigger than average and very clean, the bathroom has all the amenities that a traveler may require and the view of the mountains from the balcony is just stunning, Breakfast as well as the buffet dinner offered many choices but, and this is a personal opinion, the food did not taste as good as it looked. Maybe, this is the only weak point that we found at this hotel. Would I recommend this hotel to you ? Oh yes, definitely.
