  Villa D`Este is just down the street

  Tivoli itself has no hotels at all ( if you want to stay in the `old town` that is ), so bed and breakfast is the only option if you don't want to have to commute - the traffic is `hectic,` shall we say. We were on a driving holiday and touring gardens round Rome so couldn't miss the delights of Villa D`Este. Staying in Tivoli overnight suited our schedule. The square our rooms were on was easy to find, friendly locals helped us find the exact building, the bell buzzer was broken and a note asked us to call the owners mobile. Renovations in the apartments on the floor below ours were underway, so the lobby & staircase was quite a shock - but once in the room ( and someone who spoke English located ) we were pleasantly surprised with our rooms. Two interconnecting rooms slept 4 people in a double & two single beds. The bedlinen and towels were spotless and looked brand new. Our private shower room and toilet were clean and functioned well. The English speaking owner ( who lived in the apartment across the hall ) arrived at 8pm to collect the payment for the room. He was very pleasant and informative. At 6.30 the following morning a locals market setup in the square below our room so a lie in was out of the question. Very good value for money.

  Great location at a very good price!

  Located in an old seminary, the rooms are actually apartments with full amenities. The outside of the building looks the age, but the rooms have been brought up to modern standards. The location is great: in the old town, but close to public (paid) parking in a square. Unlike other Italian cities it was surprisingly easy to find a spot. Highly recommended!

  Very central located

  The rooms was clean but it lacked a proper AC tremendously! The owner is really nice and helpful, the roof terrace was amazing, only thing it would be nice if it could be open in the afternoon as well. Tivoli is a great place to visit, and to stay in the old town is definitely a must, so this hotel is really a good place !

  Nice place to spent a night

  Very nice and super clean place in old town. Convenient to everything. Since parking is in very limited area is super peaceful at night. Caring owner. Option to rent the room with kitchen for nearly the same price.

  clean place and attentive stuff. A good place to stay

  I stayed at Al Seminario for one night with a friend. The place is located right in the historical centre of Tivoli, close to restaurants and pubs (if you're on a budget, have lunch at Pizzeria Arche' at the ground floor with the bnb) . Time for check in and out was flexible and Serena (one of the person managing our staying) was responsive and happy to help us. All stuff was attentive. I stayed in a double bad room on the 2nd floor, with a nice view on the mountain. The room was very clean and it had a closet, mini refrigerator, tv and a bathroom with shower (bodywash, soaps, cotton buds, shower cap, towels). Note if you want to sleep longer in the morning, ask for a room not so close to the breakfast area, for the rest of the day/night this room is immerse by silence since it's facing the courtyard. The breakfast is mainly based on sweet handmade cakes, as drinks you can find orange juice, coffe and tea from the machine, btw I had the feeling the stuff could provvide you anything you're looking for.
