  Lovely place

  We stayed two nights at AestAs whilst on our Garden Route holiday. Guus and Lidy were great hosts, very helpful when we arrived and a mind of information on what to do and where to eat whilst in Kntsna. Lidy, especially, was very helpful when we tried (unsuccessfully) to book a Rib trip. Our room was spacious and clean with a lovely large balcony overlooking the garden towards the "Heads". The en-suite bathroom had a shower and toilet in a small alcove area with a door but the sink was in the room, wasn't a problem for us. Bed was very comfortable and the room had everything you would need. Breakfasts were good with a choice of cooked along with all the cereal, toast, cheese, meats etc. you could want. Being in the centre of Knysna meant you could easily walk out for meals and although some areas are slightly rowdy of an evening we never felt threatened, and never heard any noise in the B&B. A lovely place to stay with great hosts.

  Nice and clean B&B in good location

  The host, Guus, is very helpful and gives good advises about what to do in and around Knysna. The B&B is very clean. The breakfast is good. It has a nice garden and a nice pool. You can park the car behind a fence. The location is very good, close to all sorts of shops and restaurants and also the Waterfront is at walkingdistance.

  Would not stay here again

  Clean spacious room with plenty of areas for your luggage. Comfortable bed but linen was of an unusual fabric and not very comfortable. The quilt was very heavy. Towels quite small and very thin. Breakfast..a very small portion of fresh fruit and a juice drink on the table. Plenty of bread to toast, rather thin ham and cheese and boiled eggs left on buffet table. Eggs and bacon cooked freshly for you. Lovely garden area.Pool was not clean. Secure car parking. Location close to waterfront area and although it was claimed to be safe, I did not feel it to be so. I would not stay here again.

  A home away from home

  This place was brilliant. The view from our room was amazing and the couple who owns it went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable (even though we made a mistake with the booking). Plus, there's a dog to play with so that's always a win.

  Stopovers

  Spent a couple of nights here on our way to Addo and back. Very nice bedrooms and comfortable beds. Guus and Lidy are great hosts and they give you a good breakfast to start your day. Lovely garden and an inviting swimming pool. Well located in the centre of Knysna and only 5 minutes walk to waterfront.
