  We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. Great location. Wonderfully kept and very welcoming. The staff is super friendly and helpful and professional. Very clean and classy. I will definetly stay there again.

  So good Ive booked to go back next week.

  The structure itself is sympathetically tasteful in typical Egadi style. Sandstone arches balanced by white walls and modern furnishings. I had a single room in the Annexe which is just a few steps away in the old Florio building, again full of light and well located. Although a single the bed was still a 46 double with a safe, adequate hanging space and fridge. The bathroom had everything necessary. Breakfast is ample and fresh with great pastries and waiting staff on hand for coffees etc. Reception are extremely helpful and friendly, happy to help with bicycle, moped or car hire....local information and ferry/hydrofoil crossings. I ate in the hotel restaurant (located in an internal courtyard) on the first evening where a small but well thought out menu is accompanied by a respectable cellar. Restaurant service is smooth and professional. All in all a very pleasant short stay.

  So here is the story... We arrived to Favignana on 7/29 and checked into an Air B&B. although very close to the city center, the room was horrible and the experience was not what we expected. We met our friend and he had to check into his hotel near by so we joined him. Daniel was working that night in the front desk and was super welcoming and sweet. From that moment on, our trip has changed dramatically!! We told him about our situation and he offered us a great price for a really nice room at the 'Hotel Aegusa' next door. Without hesitation we made the switch and checked in. In addition, he gave us some complimentary vouchers for lunch/dinner dishes at the 'Il Giardino Dell'Aegusa Ristorante'. Last night's sleep was AMAZING! Quiet street, nice breeze and very comfortable bed! During breakfast (which was complementary BTW), Daniel came to check in on us to make sure everything is good and also prepared a plate for us to take for our sleepy friend that was about to miss breakfast. It's amazing how one stranger can turn everything around with simple kindness and understanding (: Thank you Daniel! We love it here and will recommend Hotel Aegusa in the future to any person who asks. Segev and Kendal

  Short trip

  I stayed at Aegusa for 5 days (4 nights). The room was clean and comfortable, the receptionist has been really kind with a lot of usefull information about the island and the place to go. I enjoyed the breackfast, even if I expected something more from the traditional sicilian dishes. I went once at the restaurant, it was really good but it has not been as impressive as other restaurants in the neighbourhood. The location is fantastic

  The hotel itself it's really nice: aesthetically pleasing rooms, with aircon and modern bathroom. You have a safe and mini fridge in the room, and a wardrobe with hangers. Daily cleaning is provided. What I didn't like in the room was the shower: all the water was leaking everywhere, it was impossible for us to take a shower without floading the entire toilet. Breakfast was nice as well: you had a choice of fresh patisserie and confectionery items (mainly sweet), fresh bread and cakes. I would recommend a self service coffee machine in the breakfast area and a kettle in the room, even though with the covid-19 I understand it's not the safest.
