Very big rooms! We traveled with kids, so we're looking for hotels on seaside with family rooms. We stayed in family room 2 bedrooms on 3rd floor. Hotel itself is not luxurious, but room size amazed us. It had 1 very big living room with kitchen and dining area, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies. One balcony is also very big with unusable (at least in Mar) jacuzzi. The furnishing in rooms are generous, you'll find everything you usually find in hotels, plus a computer with slow internet, washing machine and kitchenware. Swimming pools are big in size, there were 2 pools attaching to each other, one for kids, other more deep for adults. It was very convenient for a us, as we're swimming in one and kids were in smaller one, in a eye view position. Hotel is on the beach itself, which was great, but you'll be on a beach with so many people! Beach was really really crowded! But, on other hand not many people were actually swimming, so if you would swim 100 m away, you'll find yourself out of reach. So, ocean was for swimming and hotel area for laying down, on beach it was not convenient at all for taking sun bath. In overall: pleasant stay.

A dream of a placeIt is just perfect. The rooms are great complete with little kitchen and lounge. Blaconies have jaccuzies. The place is well landcscaped. the beach can get too crowded as it is very close to the public access.

Nice older placeStayed on 7 th floor. Nice beach, nice views of ocean. The rooms are getting older but everything worked fine. Nice and clean. The buffet breakfast was ok, but you better be there early for supper. Nice to have a fridge in the room. Cheap cab ride to lots of restaurants. Nice walk back to hotel after supper. Good location, good service, just older place. 20 times better than place across the street!

more CONs than PROs for mePROS - hotel area is really nice, well maintained tropical garden - kitchen (limited equipment on request- rice cooker, steam cooker, wok and knife), for free - cooking oil, soy sauce, salt, sugar, vinegar - washing machine + dryer combo in the room (drying clothes on the balcony takes forever in this humidity) - 3 pools (no slides or fountains or waterfalls though) - baby crib in the room for free, even basin for washing was provided - borrowing plenty of stuff is for free - beach slippers (even crocs for kids), clean beach towels nonstop, swim rings, sand toys, ... - small shop with veggies in the hotel, another (mostly drinks and junk food) shop across the street - clear water, comfortable sand - friendly, smiling and helpful staff CONS - kid's pool gets boring for kids - no attractions - passage to the beach has many stairs, there's really bad smell in that area (toilet / dumpster) - rats on the beach, running even during daylight, their presence is reminded to you by footprints under lounge chairs - trash on the beach, trash is being picked manually by a guy who does not care much, and Chinese tourists here don't care to walk few meters to the trash bin, (ruining your experience especially if you come with small kids who pick up everything, you spend all the time taking trash out of their hands) - missing closet + drawers in the room - we had one bedroom and for 2 adults and 2 small kids there was only tiny closet and two small drawers - big waves (water not very warm in end March/ beg. April) - water is quite shallow for kids to play but waves can ruin it - food prices in restaurants, average quality food which is overpiced - we were told prices for food are high in that whole area (we enjoyed all you can eat dinner in a hotel across the street - slightly cheaper and with some dance show entertaining kids) - beach is far from being called "private", area designated for hotel guests is trapped between two areas accessible by public and constantly used by jet skis, there is also rusty pier next to the hotel beach, so there's constant flow of many tourists passing through your "private" beach (they usually stop by to enter water, spend 15 minutes taking selfies and then continue), there are hotel lounge chairs where we always found a spot but the beach itself is just too crowded even at this time of year (I cannot imagine this place in high season), swimming area is quite a small area designated by water buoys - no chance for having a feeling of swimming in the open ocean - hot tub on the balcony - useless, only cold water is provided - bars are closing at midnight (a plus is that there's no noise usually after 11pm) - staff does not speak English, in general I cannot imagine being here without my personal translator (my wife), the only people speaking some English were receptionists (no chance when you need something in the restaurant, with cleaning ladies, guards, etc.) - kids playgrounds - ideal for use after dinner when water fun is over - indoor playground is locked after 6 pm, outdoor playground has no lights so after dark it's unusable (we used small outdoor playground in the hotel across the street) - cheapest rooms don't have any privacy (unless you want to have curtains closed all times), for ground floor rooms you see people passing by (no trees or plants to create a barrier) and even on second floor some rooms have view towards the public beach access road - constantly crowded and noisy, we ended up paying a little extra for 2nd floor ocean view, that was OK - overall not a 5 star hotel to me, even in small things like when cleaning lady is making your bed - cleaning our bed sheets by smashing them with our pillow (so the sand and dust is just moved from bed to night tables, your stuff and floor), bed sheets are not replaced once even during a 10 days stay, only upon our request after 8 days) - in general for people not familiar with Chinese culture - be ready for some unpleasant surprises - people smoking even right next to your kids, spitting everywhere (even to the pool water), leaving trash behind, shouting, taking stuff provided by hotel even if you are already using it, when coming with cute chinese/european mixed kids - impolite staring at you and kids, taking pictures of us and uninvited grabbing and talking to the children, not to forget - people here don't know water diapers, kids pee in the pool

Dont expect too muchThe hotel is quite old and needs a lot of attention and maintenance. Sign are falling off and fixtures are rotting at some places. One of our rooms windows curtain blind had clearly been broken off for a while, and after asking for it to be fixed, the runner on the bed was just stuffed into the window to keep the light out at night. Pool is very warm so its not a nice swim. Bar has been closed for a long time. Staff do not speak English.
