Nice hotel to stay and only a few minutes walk to the beach.

Positive: Rooms are nice and beds are large (we were in a twin beds room). I liked the roller shutters so you can make the room very dark. That's very nice when you want to sleep in without to much light from outside. Also liked the balkony and the tv where you can hookup a laptop through hdmi. Shower and bathroom very comfortable and looks very nice. Negative: When you're at the back of the hotel mind you that you will occasionally hear the trains (I think about once every hour, I didn't keep track of it). I sleep with earplugs and it didn't bother me. But if you don't like trains be sure to book a room at the front. We didn't see any room cleaning during the 5 days we were there. Not sure what the reason is and apart from getting more toilet paper ourselves we didn't really bother about it. But if you want it you might need to ask for it specifically. Also note that the swimming pool is very very small. I guess about 4 meters by 2 or 3 meters. What I found strange, even though there was plenty of space to park, that at least 3 staff members almost permanently parked on 3 spots marked for disabled people. As there was lots of other space it's not an issue of space but of politeness and following rules. I don't like it when people park on clearly marked (roadmarks and a sign at each spot!) spaces for the disabled, and even more when it's the staff of the property. It doesn't affect my rating of the hotel, but I did find it a bit strange.

    Business trip

Hotel is nice and clean and rooms are quite large. Rooms have a small kitchenette which is good for longer stays. Hotel doesn´t provide any WOW-feelings but I didn´t expect that either. Main problem was that promised WiFi was really weak and it wasn´t possible to have for example skype-converations also mobile phone had difficulties to reach net.

    Okay

Very average. Nice big rooms and very clean. Breakfast a little bit boring and no information from staff about activities or what to see in the region. Located about 10 minutes walk from the beach area in a very quiet and nice part of the village

    Well located but slightly dated

This hotel has a convenient location in the centre of La Baule, just one block back from the beach and 15 min walk to the main shopping/restaurant area - which is just as well as the hotel itself has no restaurant. Our room was very spacious but the decor was dated (or traditional?) and bathroom facilities were similarly ok. Our main issue was lack of lift and carrying luggage up to the 2nd floor. The advertised roof terrace & solarium was not in use, presumably as the weather was dreadful. Buffet breakfast was quite good and staff helpful. The hotel has no parking but finding space on surrounding streets with no restrictions was easy - but might be a problem in better weather and busier times.

    Ok

Couldnt find the Solarium which was One of the booking attractions Was charged 6.50 per day for parking Thx pool is size of a large jacuzzi, and far too few sun loungers Was given codes upon checking in to accès the gates as Reception close 8 pm. I didnt understand as I NEVER saw the gate closed I did see staff continue to use Disabled parking bays I did see reception staff eager to pop out back for a cigarette I did ask help from Reception staff and was told ( only if they are not too busy ) All in all , hotel rooms good. Nice location reception staff let it down
