  We only ate here

  We had lunch in the restaurant "Heimathafen", which was ok. The food was fine, but the service not so much. The price was reasonable, the hotel had interesting details such as a beautiful model of an old war ship, which was later taken by US navy, just to be sunk at the atomic bomb testing.....

  Road trip

  My husband wanted me to find a hotel near the u boat this hotel is across the road the breakfast was lovely the room was fantastic even though the bathroom is across the hall it is all urs and they provide robes the staff were so helpful and we were in room 10 and it faces the u boat I had a very happy hubby

  U boat visit

  Perfect location to visit u-995.hotel was very nice but the only downside is the bathroom is on the other side of the corridor but each room has its own private bathroom.nice views from the hotel over the sea and its a short walk into laboe.would stay here again.

  A Hotel with no Hospitality

  We came from far to visit the area and the submarine. Everything was perfect until we get to stop in this Hotel. I enter and greet one of the waitress, she just look at me like if im bothering her. I ask another person for service and she ask me to have a seat (the place wasnt busy) but still i wait for 40 minutes; as I was on the phone, but no body ever came, so I enter to the place and they continue ignoring me. I pull my gold credit card and the the first waitress who ignored me come back to me with smily face to greet me as she never saw me before, offering me the best table. Well my friend to late . Im not only never comming back, I will share my experience with my fellow friends

  Authentic naval hotel with splendid view of the Kiel Förde

  "Join the Navy" could be the theme of this fine hotel next to the museum submarine of WW2, and the 56 meter high Naval Memory, with a splendid view from the top. The hotel rooms are very fine, with a naval line interior and a fine view of the "förde" and ships to and from Kiel Harbour. Many fine details and models ships. Even the beer taps are made from machine telegraphs! We had an OK and average evening dinner and a very good breakfast buffet. All-in-all a good visit.
