  Would definitely recommend!

  A new hotel, which is situated right in the centre of Saransk! You can easily reach all the places of interest by foot and very quickly. Everything was very good... Will definitely stay in this hotel and will recommend it!

  Spacious hotel

  The entire hotel was reserved for a week long special event. As a result, my experiences also had extra amenities that are not likely available during normal guest stays. I will only review what I believe is applicable to a normal stay. Location: The hotel is about 20 minutes walking distance to the commercial town centre, and is perhaps 70-100 rubles away via taxi. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, however the surrounding neighborhood is not well maintained and can be sketchy in appearance. Suggest not walking to the hotel after sunset. Rooms: Very large and spacious, even by North American standards. Beds were comfortable. Our king bed consisted of 2 twins that were joined side by side, each having their own comforter or duvet. This allowed individual movement without disturbing each other's sleep. Standard amenities: European styled breakfast buffet, programmable in room safe, complementary slippers, bathrobes, free Wifi, complementary in room tea and bottled water. It took us 2 days to realize that hot water for the tea was available from the common water coolers located in the hotel corridors (we thought the water kettle was missing from the room). Overall impressions: The staff was very accommodating and friendly though it was a bit difficult if you don't speak Russian. The rooms and the lobby were very clean and brightly lit (natural lighting plus some majestic modern chandeliers). This hotel is likely the closest to a North American one in standards and expectations. My son was staying in another hotel in the town centre core, and it definitely did not match the same level of cleanliness, spaciousness, and comfort, nor consistency from room to room. Restaurant/bar: We ate several meals in the restaurant/bar area and was very pleased by the selection, quality, and price. English menus were available even if the server did not understand English. We discovered some local dishes that are worth trying (Moldavian pottage soup, Ural dumplings).

  FIgure skating competitions

  Beautiful rooms, super clean, super modern, excellent service, it is not far from citylife , not far from airport and you have also shopping centers nearby, and if you decide to eat at restaurants (outdoors) i recommend to go

  Huge Rooms- No furniture

  The rooms are so big, so bi you could do cartwheels around and not bump into anything. There is only a normal sized bed, side tables and a desk. The bathrooms are nicely done. Everything was super clean. We had an issue with power- there was no electricity in any of the plugs in our room- this was not able to be solved when we arrived because it was so late, so we were not able to charge our phones, computer and worse- I could not dry my hair. Breakfast was ok- but the breakfast room was so small that it was not able to fit the number of guests staying at the hotel so there was a queue. The poor waitresses had to work very hard and were not able to cpoe with the demands for coffee and cleaning up of the tables for the next guests.

  somewhat outdated

  the hotel is located outside the city centre with hardly anything else around. i found one restaurant and a supermarket.. i got a basic room with really outdated furniture. several tv channels not working and also i have seen cleaner bathrooms. reception area not very appealing. the breakfast was very basic. the bread was very dry, two days on a row. wifi internet was poor and half of the time did not work at all. not what i expect from a four star hotel. there is much room for improvement.
