    Lovely Hotel & Freindly Staff

Situated lovely town of Waiblingen the hotel is a mix of both old and new. The rooms are extremely nice, very clean and the heating system is really good unlike many hotels. The beds are nice and comfy. On arrival I was allocated a room with 2 single beds, as I was staying for 10 days, and other members of the team only 4, I was amazed to find they had double beds. I asked if there were any rooms with double beds and they immediately put me in there suite. The gentleman on the reception moved my bags for me and throughout the stay nothing has been to much for the team. Early breakfast? not a problem! Early checkout breakfast required? Not a problem! Parking, there is limited parking outside the hotel, with only 5 spaces, however there is a multi story carpark less than 2 minute drive, and walking back through the Christmas market is lovely and only 1 minute walk. Bring your ticket as the hotel will swap it for a pre-paid one! No Gym :-( Showers & Bathroom. Shower only in my room which is a little on the small side but great for one. However the shower is 10/10 and clean! The hotel was a little cold but why heat the halls! Breakfast - Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs & meats. BAD POINT! BELLS! O them bells, ding dong, ding dong, ding dong, every 15 minutes, and lets not go into the 6am one! However I am a light sleeper. The first day I lay there thinking how nice, 2nd day was ok, day 9 now and I'm going to cry! Joking its not that bad, but its a review so we have to let you know. Again, a lovely hotel!

    Very friendly but generally disappointed

First, I would like to mention that the staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I was always impressed by their attentiveness. Sadly, there are a few things that let this hotel down. The internet is generally unreliable and you can only use the code on one device. In today's world of portable devices, I needed more. I ended up buying data through my phone provider to access the internet. I found the bed uncomfortable in my room and my colleague also found the same. It was impossible to get a good night sleep. In addition, the heating system does not seem to work very well as I found myself cold in the middle of the night. Breakfast at the hotel is ok, but limited. Again, the staff are very attentive but there is not a great deal of choice. Not bad for one or two nights but I would not stay there any longer.

    Uncomfortable hotel

Maybe it was just only my room because it was quite different from the pictures in the hotel presentation, but I must say it was one of the most uncomfortable hotel rooms Ive ever been hosted. First thing is that the floor had different levels, one small step in the middle of the room and other to get to the bathroom. The room was too small and the desk as well... only the portable computer and all the room used! The ceiling was in slope just over the bed and I hit my head a couple of times when getting up in the morning. Also the size of the bed was too small and my feet were almost outside the bed. Only one nordic quilt not enough to cover me up and the room was cold. Pillow was not good for me... Wifi didnt work. The bathroom was like the room: small, cold and with sloping ceiling. The shower was so small that I was hitting with the water tab in my back... The only good thing Id say was the breakfast. Theres a very cheap public car parking 5 minutes by walk from the hotel. It costs only 1 per day.

    Comfortable but noisy

This Hotel is in the old city centre of this town. Our rooms were small but comfortable, except for the heat, no AC! Keeping the windows open was a necessity, but very noisy, due to street in front and outdoor festival down the block. The place was clean, but has seen better days. The restaurant was closed, but the breakfast was good. You have to park your car outside the old city wall several hundred feet away in a pay lot.

    The worst hotel

    1. The park side appartment in the hotel is under the roof and look like a garret 2. The manager left hotel at 20:00 and lest the keys for our room close to front door to the hotel. Keys are without room signs and we could not find which room is our for 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, manager did not leave any emergency number and we could not call anyone to ask for a help. We had to leave the hotel and stay in another one this night. After this awful situation we came to the hotel in the next morning to get our money back and extend our stay in another hotel, but the hotel Adler refused us to return money back for unused night.
