  Dirty room, lovely staff

  The dirtiest hotel i have ever stayed in and would not stay again. If cleanliness doesn't bother you then this hotel is fine for a night or two. Pros and cons as follows: Cons - very hard bed, pillows are like hospital pillows. - you can hear everyone through the walls and people can see in to your room from their balconies. - disgustingly dirty room. There was old pieces of skin on the carpet next to one side of the bed, the carpets are stained all over the couch in the room was also stained as well at the orange throw rug thing at the end of the bed. Blood stains on the mattress protector. Remote was sticky and visibly dirty. The lamps and clock were dusty and the room just had a weird old smell to it. - the bath continuously ran when the shower was on, despite pulling the lever to prevent this. Pros - absolutely lovely staff, very friendly and nice. - shower pressure was out of this world amazing. - beautiful body/hand wash, shampoo and conditioner. - great location and very easy to catch ubers in and out of town. - check in and out was easy. Overall, very dated and so, so dirty but a fair price and good location.

  Comfortable stay with friendly service

  We were lucky enough to stay at the Adelaide Meridien Hotel and Apartments through the SA travel vouchers. From booking to arrival the service was fantastic. Easily changed our booking date without any hassle. Friendly staff greet you at reception, even gave us an umbrella (due to unseasonal rain). Easy walking distance to restaurants. Bed was comfortable and room spacious, lovely quiet night sleep in large king size bed with comfy pillows. Free onsite parking and good quality wi-fi. Worth the stay and good on a budget.

  Australia Day Weekend with Dad

  Arrived on Saturday prior to Australia Day 2021, the hotel lobby is well kept and the service very welcoming. The room was quite OK, it needs a little refurbishment here and there, the odd paint job but overall the standard was good. The kitchenette was tiny but again for us its the total experience. The pool we noticed was heavily utilized by everyone including my Dad on the Monday, when it poured (gonna get wet anyway). The advantage here is, its walking distance to almost everything. The cafes up the road, 5 mins walk, the parklands and Botanical Gardens a 15min stroll and the city is 30mins and scenic. The housekeeping side was good, we felt that we could use linen sparingly for the environment. Lastly, the bedding was standard as most expect. The 1 bedroom apt we had, the main bed was quite good but the rollout sofa, wow hard as, however we come prepared; we bring along a mattress topper just in case And after placing it there, the other nights sleep were great. Overall for the cost per night, it was good. No issues to speak of. And we will return.

  Great location, clean, tidy and spacious rooms with balconies.

  Great location in Melbourne Street, clean and tidy with spacious rooms and balconies. Close to pubs and restaurants along Melbourne Street. Good beds with decent block out curtains. Good size bathroom with a decent shower.

  Reception staff excellent

  Room was dirty.had rubbish on floor next to bin and had a musty smell .bed was uncomfortable but reception staff were very helpful .the parking is ridiculous and not enough signage for carpark.very secure though.
