  Very nice and cosy Inn

  This Inn has all that we needed. In addition to that, the decor is beautiful and gives one a cosy and home feeling. Rooms are cosy and well equipped. Service staff are all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast set is excellent. The pictures say a thousand words.

  Excellent services, wonderful location.

  Love the location, in the middle of all the wonderful snacks foods Street. Staffs very friendly and courteous and helpful. Except that the front office closed at 9pm. Rooms are good @nd comes with local breakfast. Will certainly stays at the same inn on my next trips.

  Fantastic staff and perfect location

  Myself and my husband spent two nights at the Roots Inn. The location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to lots of great food and restaurants and shopping. A lovely area to walk around and close to all amenities. The hotel room itself was very beautiful and clean and had a great view. The staff was awesome!! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We needed some help with printing some documents and they were very accommodating. They also have great recommendations and good tips on where to eat/drink etc. They were also very friendly and sweet. Would highly recommend staying at the Roots Inn if you are visiting Tainan! Thanks again for an excellent stay!

  Great experience

  We stayed two nights in Roots Inn Tainan, I think its highly recommendable. The rooms are simple, but clean. Its got a mini fridge for you to store all the delicious goodies that you may buy in Tainan. No bottled water nor coffee/ tea in the room, but all is provided in the 6/F communal living room. Its a nice setting to enjoy after a long day out, we bought some snacks from the food stalls near by back to the living room because of heavy rain outside. The living room has all the dining ware that youll need, and a nice big dining table to spread your feast out. Location is very convenient as the alleys nearby are filled with food stalls at night. Service is excellent, we asked for extra hand towels and hand soap, they provided that to our room while we went out. The receptionist mentioned to us that even after check out, we are welcome to rest in the 6/F living room before we had to leave, which is very nice. On a side note: BMS cafe nearby is excellent for western breakfast and coffee, we went there for both mornings during our stay.
