Ski vacation at Active Hotel Olympic January 2020Very good and cosy hotel, very friendly staff and all members of the owners, the Pellegrin family. Amenities included a spa, with indoor+outdoor pool being a special feature. Various saunas were a blast after full days of skiing. Entertainment area with billiard and game machines were a big success with both adults and kids. The hotel also organized every day some activities "on the house". We found time to enjoy only one and we highly recommend it - a half-day snowshoes walk in the mountains with Pablo (one of the owners)! The places Pablo knows for such walks offer unparalleled views of the valleys and the mountains, and hot chocolate with rum during a break was something to remember. All in all - a great place to spend a week at (and very close to main ski areas in the di Fassa Valley). We are definitely planning to return!

More than I could have imaginedThis hotel and spa surpassed my expectations in every way. Every tiny detail was thought of and the service was perfect. Food was fine dining and some of the flavours I tried were exquisite. We booked a suite and it was beautiful. We stayed a week so got to enjoy most of the hotels amenities (as well as the whole cocktail menu) Turndown service every night was a lovely welcome back to the room, as were the little gifts and notes left for us. The spa was perfect, hot like a bath, and then opening to the outside which was stunning. Sitting in the pool with snow falling was a special experience. Couples massage again faultless and relaxing.....just wish I had another. If I ski in this region again I would love to come back here. Family run and at its absolute best. Worthy of 5 stars

Wonderful place!Incredible service, ambiance and food from an attentive team. This was our second stay and we will definitely be returning. The evening meals and breakfast were the best and the spa was very relaxing.

Absolutely outstanding hotel, special thanks to Paula. I hope I can visit again.A little drive from Garda. An outstanding welcome - have a drink and snack, sit down, relax while we do the paperwork - ok! They helped with our bags and gave us a tour. We had a family suite all decked out in pine. The children had really cool bespoke bunk beds and we had a huge incredibly comfortable bed with views of the mountains from the bed/balcony. Great bathroom. All perfect. The dining room was very nice with truly superb service - we had a few people wait on us but Paula stood out. She really looked after us. We had 3 evening meals there - it's a bizarre system where you either have 2 courses for 35 or 6 for 45 euro. They let the kids share the 35 euro menu and they were happy with this. I was very happy to have a tasting menu every night! Great wine menu and not too expensive. Breakfast was also excellent. We went walking and they gave us advice about where to go etc.. The dolomites are incredible and I'm sure I'll return. Hopefully to this hotel! There was a pianist on Friday evening. The spa was great. Yes, it was expensive but what a wonderful experience. Thoroughly recommended. The only bad points - no aircon (but opening the windows didn't bring in mosquitos) and it's next to a road that's fairly busy, not much to be done about that!
