  Only in a pinch

  Confusion reigns even to quoting incorrect tariffs. When we were there in July, the staff was toiling as cheerfully as can be expected under the pressure of an imminent sale of the facility. The food was so bad that we absorbed the cost of the pensione and travelled the island in search ( and we found) of much better fare. It was clean however. Does not have it's own beach but the cost of the room does not reflect that. This hotel should only be a last ditch attempt.

  A hotel in a beautiful location with fantastic food

  We stayed here for four days as part of a family tour of Italy.I believe we were the only english guests during our stay, and we could not have been made more welcome. We arrived on a thursday which just happened to be the day for a fish bbq themed dinner. The food was just stunning ,in fact the quality of the food for all of our stay was of the highest calibre. A special mention to the charming Rosella who took our orders most of the time and always smiled and laughed at my attempts at speaking Italian. So a big thanks to Donatella and the Acquaviva Park team for a lovely few days. We would love to return some day..... The Rumble Family.

  Rooms are very small and some without balcony

  The hotel itself has a great location, but everywhere on Elba you need to have a car to enjoy it really. The staff of the hotel are is very friendly, kind and helpful but the rooms are small and some of them don't have a balcony that is horrible when you come with wet towels and swimming suit after the day on the beach. The furniture is old and sleeping quality not that good. They are changing the towels every second or third day and for 5 days they did not change our sheets at all. Breakfast is very poor and if you come late you will not find much to eat. There are a lot of people with children around so I would recommend it for family vacation. Hotel has a big parking.

  A nice hotel with a good location and food

  A nice hotel with a good location and a beautiful view. A swimming pool and sun beds are available for guests. Food is very delicious, thanks to the chef. The service staff is quick and attentive. The hotel is an ideal place for holiday with family or friends, recommended!

  False advertising and refuses to respond to requests for refund

  We booked this hotel on Expedia just as Tuscany was lifting sanctions from COVID-19. We chose this hotel for its pool. The hotel's location is not convenient unless you have your own transportation. But we wanted to relax poolside in a quiet place. When we arrived we were literally the ONLY guests. The pool appeared to be open but the front desk person said the pool was closed because of COVID and no one could swim. We informed them the restrictions were lifted and they called their manager. NOTE: managers are no onsite and front desk persons are not empowered to make decisions. The manager said the pool was closed because they didn't want to provide lifeguards or monitors to control the number of people in the pool. We told them there were no other guests but they would not allow the pool to open. We told them their Expedia add was misleading and did not say anything about the pool being closed. The manager said we must've booked the room weeks previously. We told them we booked in 48 hours earlier and showed their staff the Expedia listing. We said we wanted to cancel our reservation and wanted a refund. Mr. Marrone agreed and said we would have to go through Expedia. We left and went to another hotel who not only had a swimming pool but it was open for a max of 10 people. We contacted Expedia who contacted Mr. Marrone. They refused to agree on a refund or discuss a partial refund. We tried to reach the hotel three times and emails were ignored. Do not stay at this hotel.
