  One night stay

  Stayed in triple room, very clean lovely comfy beds, nice sized room on suite. Great breakfast freshly cooked, only stayed one night. Les and Sandra great hosts. Would stay again if need a room in the area.

  Great value and lovely hosts

  Rooms are excellent - we booked a triple and a double- excellent en-suite facilities and choice of teas/coffee/chocolate and quality biscuits Breakfast is to die for - I have a choosy family when it comes to food and they were all impressed Les was very attentive and keen to please Quality produce and plenty of choice Easy access to an excellent wedding venue- Hazel Gap Barn. Useful off road car park Great value and would new pleased to return.

  Excellent one night stay the hosts good not have done more for us both

  Everything was great, room, checking in, advice regards local taxis, breakfast, checking out excellent throughout. We were picked up from the local train station by the host, and he very kindly dropped us back there the next day.

  From little Acorns....

  This small guest house near to Worksop town centre is immaculate, friendly & convenient for attractions in the area. We stayed there to visit Worksop arena, 10 minute walk, and was very pleasantly surprised. Les, the owner, greeted us & it was obvious from the start that he was a mine of information. If you need to know anything about the area then just ask. He is so helpful. There is a free car park for guests. Our bedroom had a double bed. The linen was beautifully laundered. The room had a tv, tea/coffee. Plenty of clothes hanging space. The good sized bathroom had a shower cubicle. The towels again reflected the Acorn philosophy. Luxurious and quality. I would always suggest guests take the option of the breakfast. Cooked by Les, of course, or the continental, all using good local products. Great start to the day. Attractions that I know are in the area and easy to get to from the Acorn Lodge includes National Trust - Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest, Rufford Park, Thoresby Hall, Worksop arena. There also some lovely villages in the area. To summarise, we had a lovely time made better by the welcoming greeting & the care shown by the owners. Thank you Les & Caraline. It is, as your paperwork says, A Home from Home.

  Beautiful room - will stay again

  What a lovely homely little guest house, our room which was upgraded on arrival for free was beautiful. (The family room) really felt like a home from home. Beds were really cosy and the breakfast was delicious. Will be staying here again.
