Decent one night stayWe arrived at Gatwick and telephoned the hotel for the airport transportation, and they arrived very quickly and efficiently. It was £7 each way (£14 total). The check in process was quick and easy and we found the staff to be friendly and professional. The room was basic but for the price you cant go wrong. We were provided with towels, soap and shampoo for use in the hot showers. The beds were clean and comfortable. WiFi didnt work good in the room whatsoever but we used 4G on our phones so this wasnt too much of an issue. We didnt use it, but the hotel offers breakfasts (continental and full English). Overall, a good one night stop over for an airport transfer if you are using Gatwick.

Complete lack of customer serviceUsed this place in the past and it was very good. Unfortunately this time it was very bad. The establishment has been taken over in the last year or so and I have to say they should not be in business at all. Not as clean as before, no shower gel/shampoo in bathroom, very noisy and nowhere near as friendly as before and food not up to standard.. Driver that took us to airport was sullen and drove quite dangerously. We had emailed them to let them know that we were arriving home 2 days early and they replied that it was ok and car would be ready. On arrival at Gatwick we telephoned to let them know that we were there and would they pick us up as arranged and had paid for but were told there was no driver and we would have to make our own way there. We managed to get a taxi to the hotel, which was locked up but after banging on the door severlal times a man did open it. He was rude with a couldn't care less attitude. We asked him for recompense for the taxi fare to which he agressively said no. We took our keys and left. Our car was in a disgusting state, do not know where they had kept it. We will never use this place again and I strongly advise anyone else no to touch it with a barge pole no matter how cheap it is..

Worst Hotel EverI made my booking in July, i booked to stay from the 29th to the 30th. I emailed the hotel and told them that I arrive in Gatwick on the 29th of August between 1am and 2am and asked them if it would be OK to check in at that time. A short time later i received an email from Khalid telling that there would be no problem for me to check in at that time and to call them and they would let me in. When I landed in Gatwick I called them as per the email as per Khalids request and I was told that they had misread the email and they wouldn't let me in as they thought I was arriving late at night on the 29th meaning the 30th of August. I explained that this is their fault and not mine as I had clearly stated dates and time in my original email which I had. The male on the phone just argued and hung. At this stage we were outside the hotel, I called back and the male answered again and I asked if they had any rooms left as it was 1.30 in the morning and we did need somewhere to stay the male said that he did. The male walked over to the door and unlocked it. I proceeded to show him the email which proved what I was saying ans he refused to look at it saying that it was too late for that. I then explained that I would have to reflect this in my review with booking.com to which he replied, "in that case I no longer have a room for you" and walked us to the door and locked the door behind him. After 15 minutes of sitting outside in the rain trying to organise another hotel for us, a young male came out and told that we would not get anywhere else to stay for the night and for £40 we could stay tonight and we could call booking.com in the morning and request our refund. Since we had no where to go we accepted. The male we were speaking to was apparently the owner of the place. Who answered the door in his bear feet. There was no following of covid 19 regulations. None of the staff members were wearing masks there was no social distancing and no hand sanitiser. In the morning we got up to check out and there was a note on the desk stating that we should just leave the keys on the desk and that the front door was locked and in order to leave qe should use the fire escape through the restaurant. This was and I'm sure will be the worst place I have ever had to stay at. Staff are arogant and rude and do not accept the responsibility of their own mistakes. After posting the above review under the hotels Facebook page I received an email stating that I would not be getting a refund, even though the owner agreed on a recorded line that he would be giving me a refund. This goes to show how unprofessional staff at this hotel are.

Poor AdvertisingWe stayed for 1 night which I will say was comfortable & cleanish but they are advertising a bar and breakfast but when you get there you are told bar is not open & no breakfast. so they should really change there advertisement, also there is a notice on front door with the key card number to get in if you are late coming back which is fine but they then put the mortise lock on so we then had to ring the hotel to get someone up to unlock door

Treated FairlyI booked to stay in the hotel and paid the full amount at the time of booking. Later, I was unable to travel and asked for a refund . Yes, with Covid 19, it took them some time to get back to me but they did eventually and they refunded every penny to me without argument. I will be perfectly happy to book with them again when I next travel from Gatwick.
