  Fantástica Experiencia

  Estuvimos 4 noches, teníamos la reserva de más de 9 meses realizada y la verdad que fue increíble la experiencia, instalaciones perfectas y todos los empleados son atentos a cualquier detalle. Mucha seguridad con respecto a las condiciones del Covid19. Lugar seguro y tranquilo para pasar unas vacaciones.

  Simply stunning

  We visited this hotel for the first time in June 2019 and due to Covid and both working throughout lock down we were not sure we would even get a holiday this year. It was very last minute when we emailed Nadia to ask about availability and we decided to be brave and go! The standards are already so high at the Achtis that we knew we would be safe once we arrived and it was absolute bliss to be virtually mask free for two whole weeks! Once you pass through those electronic gates you are in a blissful bubble and apart from the staff who had to wear masks, the guests did not. We had our temperature taken on arrival by Nadia and then told we would only be required to wear masks when walking around the main town and going into shops. You would barely have known Covid existed and we chose not to look at any social media or news whilst we were away which was so relaxing. There is always so much to see and do here, from the peacocks (there is now a new addition to the family), the ducks, the fish, frogs and the beautiful gardens. We were sorry not to see Millie the Shetland pony this year but she is being kept safe at the farm. We hired a car again and drove around into the next peninsula (Sithonia) which has a different feel to Kassandra, we also drove up into the mountains and through the pine forests. Nadia gives excellent tips on where to visit for beaches, lunches, pretty harbours etc. It was so wonderful to see Kristina, Julie, Magda, Achilles and many of the other staff again. It has certainly been a strange year for them all but they could not have made us more welcome, despite Kristina not being able to organise Greek Night or Quiz Night - we still had a fabulous time and met new faces (new to us but not to the Achtis!) it is easy to see why people keep returning to this little oasis. We are big travellers so we do not tend to visit the same place twice but this hotel is very, very special and keeps drawing you back. We spent time chatting with Magda, Achilles and Nikki and were blown away with the amount they lavish on this hotel every year to keep the standards so high. This year there are new electronic gates to the front and rear as well as a new stone facade to the car parking area. All the furniture in the restaurant and eating areas has been replaced with very high class chairs and tables and lamps, sunbed cushions have been replaced and everything looked fresh and clean. The staff have worked so incredibly hard this year in particular to ensure all their guests remain safe and we have nothing but the highest praise for all of them for how effortless they make a difficult job seem. Everything gets done with a smile, nothing is a problem and every guest is made to feel welcome and their custom valued. Having not had a holiday or a rest for almost 12 months we decided to push the boat out and booked one of the Superior Suites. It was pure indulgence and we may never get the opportunity to do that again but boy, did we enjoy it - thank you to Vasiliki and Tsira for keeping our room spotless and to Natalia and Julie for making breakfast so cheerful. Kristina, we now have to go on a strict diet due to your cake feeding obsession! It was extra special being able to have the time to sit and talk with you and learn more about the hotel and your families. We ate in the hotel at least 6 times this visit, partly due to it being late in the season and some of the restaurants in town already being closed but also because the level of service and standard of food provided by Gabrielle kept pulling us back in. Kristina you do a wonderful job of getting us to eat and drink more than we were going to!! We just know we will definitely be back here again, that is a given! In the meantime, all stay safe and well.

  Exceptional service

  We went to the hotel for our first holiday as a family. Our 10 month old baby, Nevie had an amazing time and was so well looked after by all the staff including cooking her special meals and washing her cutlery as well as being super friendly and playful. The hotel felt very safe and clean and the service was always excellent. The layout of the pool area allows for privacy and a good space between guests. We will definitely be visiting again.

  Wonderful

  We had originally booked another trip to a different Country which was cancelled due to quarantine restrictions so we booked this last minute. I think we were so lucky! The Achtis is a simply wonderful place. The staff are amazing.... fantastic cocktails Kristina!! Everything was superb. The room was immaculate as were all public areas. So homely and relaxing. The village is a short walk as is the beach. Lovely bars and shops. The food however at The Achtis is superb and we enjoyed everything we ate there. I really hope to return and have already recommended this lovely place to friends. Thank you everyone for a wonderful stay x x x

  Fantastic stay

  We stayed at this absolutely beautiful hotel in September 2020 in between COVID lockdowns. We have stayed in numerous hotels around the world, but we have to say the Achtis hotel beats them all in terms of service and comfort and wonderful staff. Nadia, Kristina, Julie and all the staff are really amazing. They are so friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble and we could clearly see they loved their jobs. The hotel is owned by a lovely welcoming family with exquisite taste as you will see from the stylish decor. We would recommend this beautiful oasis and are definitely going to return.
