  New years evening

  We had a great dinner for new years eve at this newly reopened hotel where the new owners take high care for their customers. The food was very good quality and the price / quality of champagne for new year was outstanding.

  Very good hotel, excellent food and very friendly and helpfull people!

  We stayed in this area because we were walking in Bavaria. This is a good, personal hotel with wellness and has excellent food and wines! People are friendly and helpfull. No elevator. We had a vast room with small kitchen and beautiful bathroom. We enjoyed it very much.

  Biathlon trip

  had a brilliant stay at the hotel with my wife and our friends. the rooms were spacious, clean and warm. the restaurant served a great breakfast and the evening meals were very tasty. all topped off with plenty of local beer :) very friendly and helpful owners.

  People at Achentaler Vitalhotel make the difference beyond excellent value for money

  It's my pleasure to highly recommend Achentaler Vitalhotel to travellers who value beyond an excellent price/quality ratio a family-warm atmosphere which made me feel home immediately, and even more so after my second stay. It reminds me of that Shangri-La YouTube clip:"It's in our nature to embrace a stranger" - but then without the wolves :) Instead you'll find a creative, excellent kitchen; casual but stylish ambience; attentive service from all staff members, no exception; impeccable rooms & facilities; above all, in a heavenly calm location where you can sleep with open windows. The list of "perfect" is long and frankly, I cannot find a single thing to improve. Yet the big differentiator why I will come back, is not that. Success is a work in progress. It are the owners and the kind of guests they've welcomed over time, that make out the biggest plus. People make the difference, whatever the activities you may choose to do in the area. Plenty of choices. You come like a guest, you leave as a friend. That's something many crave for in a world that lacks humanity. Other than that, Achentaler Vitalhotel is obviously an absolute great place to stay and dine!

  Loved everything about this place!

  We loved this hotel! The atmosphere is home-like, and yet you're in a hotel and taken care of. We had a little apartment that was so nice and comfy, and cozy. It is the first hotel I've been to that had enough hooks in the bathroom - which I love! I also liked that they are environmentally friendly, opting not to use the little bottles, soaps etc, nor plastic cups.We got to talk to the owners as well, who are super friendly, helpful and want to make you feel at home. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was especially good. Our only complaint, was that the Wifi was weak - something they are aware of and are working on. Note also that they are not in the center of town - which to us didn't make a difference. In short - a fantastic find! Would definitely stay there again when in the area!!
