  Attention to deal and inviting!

  It was Great! Loved the over all vibe of the place, a perfect balance of attention to detail, yet simplistic in nature and very comfortable. Really enjoyed the mix of folks that hung out in the bar lounge area as well, now if we could only get everyone to put down their phones in sync (including me) for a collective exchange on some level. You guys have certainly done your part in creating an inviting place for that to happen. The only thing I could have used was an email or text confirmation that I had the made the reservation. I thought I might have entered my email incorrectly but I got this feedback inquiry so that was not the case. Not a huge deal but I sometimes think I have made a reservation only to find out I did not complete the process. I thought that was the case here as well so I had to call to ensure I had a reservation, not a big deal just something to consider. Thx Bryant

  Ace Hotel in Pittsburgh Grew on Us

  We picked the Ace randomly from an app. The price was right. At first, upon entering the lobby, we felt out of place with the number of young folks, similar ages of our kids. Our room was small with a large bed on a wooden platform which had sharp edges to look out for while moving around in the space. My ankle banged into it a few painful times before I learned to avoid. We grew to like the room more each day. The thermostat is adjustable, bed has plenty of warm blankets and the shower was always hot. However, no grab bars to help climb out of the high tub. We had breakfast in the restaurant - excellent and good service. The valet always had our car ready when needed and even walked us to it's parking spot when we left stuff in it. The lobby was always alive with people in the bar and on the couches or working hard at the long work table. All staff was pleasant and helpful. We recommend it and would go back - maybe ask for a larger room.

  Fun stay, not your average hotel

  Had a great stay for my husbands birthday. This is not your typical luxury hotel but the little details and edgy design made the experience fun and different. Check in and valet process were smooth. Loved the corner suite on the fourth floor. Also big thanks to front desks Olivia and (Carter? Cant remember his name) for helping arrange a birthday treat from the kitchen waiting for my husband in the room when he checked in. We also enjoyed using the private dining room in Whitfield for a delicious group brunch on Sunday. Great servers and staff. Thank you, Ace PIttsburgh!

  A lovely, hip place

  I love this hotel and every time I stay here, I remember just how much I love it. If I had to nitpick something not to like, I would say that the beds are not very comfortable, but I know that is a personal preference thing. It would be nice if you reserved some tables in the restaurant for guests. People shouldnt need a reservation to eat breakfast at the hotel they are staying at. If I would have known it would be a 45-minute wait, I would have just ordered in my room and checked out afterwards, instead of before.
