This is a typical Japanese business hotel on design but a bit nicer than average due to what I think to be fairly recent upgrades. Rooms are predictably small but comfortable. The bed is nice and there is a nice sized desk. The window opens and the a/c unit is fully controlled by you (not the front desk). This is not so Western as some are. There is a typical modular math room with Western toilet but the counter staff didn't seem to speak any English and the breakfast is full Japanese. That's a win, though, as it is quite a spread. I ate here three days and, while there wasn't much rotation of items, quality was high. Lots of vegetables and typical sit / fish protein, miso soup, rice, Asian salad. I was hesitant to stay here but am quite pleased with the visit. I've recommended that my company, whose HQ is in Kariya, add Access to the list of standard hotels for visitors (language barrier can be overcome).
