Buen hotel a un precio fantásticoEstuve en el hotel durante 3 días por una viaje de negocios. El precio tan bueno en comparación a lo que estoy acostumbrado me permitió pedir una suite enorme con salón, dos baños, vestidor... Reformado, baño nuevo totalmente equipado, cama muy cómoda, buen aire acondicionado silencioso con zonas diferenciadas y buena conexión a internet. Poco más que pedir!. Quizás haría falta mejorar las ventanas (insonorización) y tener más amenities, en cualquier caso todo es más que correcto. Desayuno variado y de calidad (bastante al estilo malayo) y atención del personal excelente en todo momento.

Para cambiarDecidimos quedarnos aquí por que llevabamos tiempo de mochileros y nos salió una habitación doble por 29 , decidimos probar y fué una maravilla. Vistas geniales, un colchón que daban ganas de llevarselo y bastantes lujos.

Great stay!!Last October, I brought my parents to Penang together with my aunts and uncle as part of the weekend getaway. I was basically the only one below age 65 in the group. Booked 3 bedroom suite for the 5 elderly so that they were able to hang around together in the suite. The suite of course comes with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathroom, a living room, dining room and a pantry. The elderly felt so comfortable in the suite as they have their on bathroom in the bedroom. The suite was very clean and tidy, individual air conditioner was good and cooling, water pressure was superb and the bed was comfortable. The reception team was very attentive. They acknowledged me while I was waiting in queue to check in. The lobby was pretty busy during that period. Concierge was very helpful as they quickly approached us at the driveway the moment we arrived to assist us on the luggages. This hotel hotel location good. It is located near Queensbay Shopping mall and its not far from the town. There is a very good Penang Chee Cheong Fun nearby too! Definitely will come back again with my family once CMCO is lifted!!

Needs improvementI've stayed at this hotel a couple of times recently with my family and we loved it. We always book the 3 bedroom apartment which is spacious & comes with good list of amenities. However, its very sad to notice that the quality of the property has been declining. My last booking was for 1 night on 20th Dec 2020, and upon check in we were told that the hotel will undergo a routine maintenance works by TNB and that there will be no electricity supply from 9pm to 1am. I understand that this was a decision from TNB and not the hotel's fault, but what i felt upset about was that the hotel should have informed us as soon as they know about it, and let us make an INFORMED DECISION of whether to stay or to cancel our booking. Instead, they waited until we arrived at the property, checked in, and THEN only told us about it. It was totally unprofessional & unfair to us! It was already late in the evening and we were travelling with kids & elderly parents. I actually gave them the benefit of the doubt & proceeded with the check in. We went to our apartment and the matter was made worse by: 1. 3 out of the 5 airconds in the apartment were leaking. We had to call the maintenance guy over to repair them, for whicb i must give credit for their prompt service. 2. hot shower didn't work despite turning on the switches. 3. All bedroom windows & balcony doors couldn't be opened (except the third bedroom window). So, there will be no electricity i.e. aircond, no fans and we cant open any doors or windows. Are we supposed to suffocate in the apartment? Needless to say, I was totally frustrated & we immediately checked out and went to stay at Eastin instead. Like i said, we have stayed at this hotel a couple of times before & we liked it. They actually have a number of great staff who are very courteous & polite, but that alone wouldnt make them succesful. What happened to us in the last trip was totally unacceptable and i sincerely hope that they improve their communication with their guests. Also, i understand that the whole business took a big hit due to the pandemic, but i truly hope that they can start making improvements in their furnitures & fittings, and wherever possible, minimize breakdowns. Until then, i'm sorry to say that i wont be visiting them again.

Please review your billing systemI stayed here for 2 nights for a total rates at RM346.50. Yes, I understood that when checked in, normally the hotel will charge credit card for certain amt to hold as deposit, and for my case, they charged me at RM500 on 26.12.2020. During checked out on 28.12.2020, the staff (ming yi) told me that they will deduct the room rates (RM346.50) from the hold amt of RM500 and the balance RM153.50 will be refunded within 14 days. If that the case, I will loose the opportunity cost of the balance amt. I was puzzled with such system/SOP/process that I told her that normally other hotels will void the deposit credit card slip and charge again the exact amt at RM346.50. Quite disappointed with your process and the staff attitude in handling the situation. Please kindly review your process and benchmark with the industry. Tq.
