  Really nice hotel

  Stayed here for two nights, and with the virus issues going on you can get a good deal on stays right now! Got in for $89 a night. The hotel looks and feels brand new. I heard that it is actually about 2 years old, but you would think it opened last week. I wont ramble on too much the pictures speak for themselves.

  Review COVID19 edition

  I am reviewing this on a trip that is taken during the pandemic. All non-pandemic related experiences were fantastic. I am very impressed with how friendly and enthusiastic the employees were, those are hard traits to find or improve thru training. The hotel location is perfect for anyone playing tourist while visiting. This trip did go without some snags experienced at the hotel. Masks were required in the hotel common areas as posted around the hotel. Employees were doing a really good job on properly wearing them till my second night were the desk clerk was using hers more as a chin guard then a face mask. She assisted a couple customers wearing it like this. There are hand sanitizer stations around the lobby area and those were kept filled. The last issue I had with the hotel was toilet paper. So during my stay I ran out of toilet paper as they had a 1/4 filled roll when I check in, there was no "backup" roll located at all in my room. During dropping off my key another guest had problems as they also to did not have any toilet paper so this seemed to by a systematic problem. Also if staying, if you were a light sleeper I would avoid rooms facing the main street which I believe is Oklahoma Avenue. This is a nightlife area of town and the racing engines of some cars were very load.

  Enjoyable stay

  I stopped for one night on the way back from a work trip. Good location. Lots of restaurants w/in walking distance. Spacious king room. Cold mini fridge. Standing shower with rain head and handheld sprayer. Front desk staff was very helpful.

  Valentine stay hiccup

  The AC Marriott in Bricktown OKC has a great vibe for anyone wanting to experience the area. However, before you climb into one of their beds make sure you pull the top covers back and check the sheets. Upon doing so we discovered our bed linens had not been changed. Ill spare the details on how we knew. It was late and the only way to reach the front desk was to trek down to the main lobby. The clerk apologized and gave us another room, after asking me if I wanted clean sheets to change the bed myself. Really?? Thats part of the deal of staying in a hotel, you DONT have to make the bed. We wont stay at an AC again.

  Feel like I need to go home and get real sleep now

  The AC Hotel impressed us up until we walked through the door. There are signs everywhere that state masks are REQUIRED for everyone. However, the majority of guests we encountered in the lobby, elevator, hallways, etc. were all unmasked. Seems like the rules arent enforced and we didnt feel very safe. We paid $15 to park in a lot that was a short walk away, but the only spots available were in the very back and the lot was covered in ice and slush. Then, the bed. Hard as a rock. We woke up with our backs sore. Plus, we didnt sleep all night due to horns honking and sirens blaring every few minutes. This was no fault of the hotel, but it certainly added to all the frustration. We also noticed splash marks all over the wall that we HOPE was spilled coffee from another guest..... but it hadnt been cleaned, and really grossed me out. In the morning, I reached for the individually wrapped coffee cups, and wanted to make coffee. But then, I noticed the lids were NOT wrapped, and one had a couple pieces of hair in it. Needless to say, we checked out and grabbed coffee somewhere else. Overall, severely disappointed in this hotel. Will definitely stay elsewhere next time.
