Noisey Overnight Stay in ManchesterThere is a lot of construction work going on around the hotel with many of the roads being worked on and so with the construction work came delays travelling around the area. There is roadside parking nearby but we were advised against this by the receptionist and so parked in the nearby Printworks NCP for £22:50 for the night. Ther area around the hotel has seen better days although its in an area that appears to be getting gentrified ,with some of the old industrial buildings being converted to flats. The hotel itself was nice, with a contemporary and modern interior throughout. Its in a good location as its within walking distance to popular restaurant and bars. Since we arrived late saturday afternoon we were surprised to see only one receptionist as there were quite a few people trying to book in. We were eventually allocated a room however on entry discovered that the room hadnt been made up. We were allocated a room and later went to the bar for a drink. Again it was obvious that they were light on staff numbers as the receptionist was the same person who had to serve at the bar. One thing that should be noted is that this hotel due to its central location was very popular with young couples going out to the bars and clubs. We returned to the hotel about 10:30 pm to discover that a nearby room was masquerading as a pre club venue with what sounded like a lot of people n the room and a decent sound system, if it was in a bar. About 11:30pm they obviously all headed out, only to resume during the early hours when they returned. Another member of our group suffered from a similar experience although they were 4 floors below us. To summerise the hotel is obviously very popular with young couples going out for the night in Manchester City centre therefore if you are after somewhere quiet to stay where you'll get a undisturbed n ight of sleep this place is probably not for you at the weekend. The hotel is modern and clean however the staff were in short supply and werent overly freindly.

Disappointing hotel stayGreat location with parking being £8 nearby. Staff all wearing masks but no other guests seemed to bother (not the hotels fault!) Breakfast was abysmal. A tiny breakfast bag with an apple, banana, pot of porridge and a croissant in a packet - if you're thinking of paying extra for breakfast don't do it. I understand COVID19 has its restraints but it was one of the worst breakfasts ive ever had from a hotel. Rooms were clean however the A/C in our room didn't work so we literally didnt sleep at all on our first night. I eventually got fed up and rang reception at 2am to see if we could move rooms. They let us move but we should have been put in a room with functioning air con in the first place. If you're after a cheap budget hotel, visit here. But if you want a more pleasurable experience there are plenty of better hotels at the same price. Really disappointed!!

NEW MODERN HOTELI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the AC hotel manchester, the hotel is brand new, with beautiful interior, it also smelled so good, the staff are very courteous and helpful all the time, and the rooms were very nice and spacious! cold AC as well. There a nice spacious fully equipped gym on the 1st floor, perfect location, it's only a 5-10min walk to the shops, grocery, restaurants, and 10-15min. walk to KOR gym and BLOK gym for classpass users!! Would definitely stay here again!! Rates were very cheap too!!

Not worth the moneyI booked to stay for one night and the tv did not work the entire time , it wouldnt connect to my phone, play bbc or itv player and even normal tv it would cut out every ten mins - the staff didnt know how to fix. I ordered the curry and the naan bread was so hard and stale it was inedible , the rice was not even a full portion more of a thin layer and the curry itself was not warm and tasted like a microwave meal. There was no soap or anything like that in the room and the sheets at the bottom half of the bed were still damp so I was not the most comfortable sleep. If I knew the details of who to ask I would request a refund.
