  buen hotel

  es un hotel elegante, sencillo y acogedor situado en el centro de dallas con opciones cercanas que valen la pena conocer para desayunar en la esquina esta el "overeasy" y cenar a dos cuadras el "cbd provisión" starbuck a unos cuantos metros y el cvs pharmacy a una cudra. hotel minimalistas y los ascensores pueden tardar unos minutos por el sistema que tienen

  Fatima made my stay :)

  Basics: Beautiful rooms/showers. Lighting rocks, love the concept space and the ability to log into my netflix is clutch. The location is solid for downtown, easy to navigate and find. The Extras :) After a long drive, picking up food, parking and lugging my stuff to the front desk I was exasperated. I was greeted by Fatima who kindly took her time to tell me about my stay and arrangements. I had spoken with her a few times to during the day to see if they were serving food/where the parking garage was located. I ended up getting locked out of my room, and my food got cold. I needed silverware, a drink and some warm food. I was basically a lost child. It was at this point she asked for a little more of my patience and did something truly kind. She took my food in the back and warmed it via microwave (they don't have them in the rooms) and asked nothing in return. I know it's a front desk's job to be kind to strangers, but I really felt that she wanted to make a positive impression. After a long day, and tasty meal, I'm still thinking about the recognition she had in a fellow human in need of a favor. Thank you Fatima, I hope I can repay the favor soon.

  Clean hotel...but clientele not what a business traveler wants

  The hotel is good, has what anyone really needs. It is actually a tri-plex with AC, Hampton and Residence Inn. There is a Starbucks ( full service ) so even though breakfast is closed for the hotel due to Covid-19 there is Starbucks. They do have the bar open for food and drinks in the evening only Thursday-Sunday. I will admit that the elevators smelled like drugs and the people checking in I felt belonged at a much different type of hotel. I was standing more than 6 feet back and could smell the marijuana coming off the people in front of me. When I was checking out the indoor pool was full so there so no limiting the capacity. I would give this hotel another chance the service was good and friendly.

  Perfect Stay!

  I stayed here for 3 nights and I have no complaints. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The room I was assigned was a quiet room. I did not hear any outside noise and I slept peacefully. The room comes with cable tv, soap, coffeemaker, safe, mini fridge, and a comfortable bed. The hotel offers luggage storage as well if you have a late flight. The hotel is in a good location and is within walking distance to the tram that takes you to the airport, two grocery stores, and plenty of food/coffee options. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

  Lacking Hospitality

  My husband and I were excited to visit Dallas as neither one of us had visited before and were eager to experience Southern hospitality firsthand. We chose this brand as we had stayed at AC Hotel by Marriott in Washington DC and loved it. Our stay with this establishment was one disappointment after another. Unlike in DC, we were not greeted with a warm smile but more like we had annoyed someone on the street by asking for directions. We were never given a list of nearby restaurants to choose from which had been done almost immediately in DC. Throughout our several days in Dallas, I loathed having to speak with the front desk as they were either not pleasant or would speak to me barely above a whisper and with no eye contact. When Storm Uri hit, I had hoped to maybe see a glimpse of this famous hospitality but once again, I was left feeling disappointed. I recognize that there must have been a lot going on behind the scenes as locals were booking rooms due to lost power; however, my husband and I were thousands of miles from home and were just eager to get back quickly. A warm smile would have gone a long way for visitors whose flight had been canceled several times and had nowhere to go. There was no consideration as we had to keep extending our stay due to the flight cancellations and were even told they would no longer be able to accommodate us on our last night as they were completely booked. For a couple who knew nothing about Dallas or where to go, we had to fend for ourselves and find another hotel. Needless to say, this experience has changed my opinion of the AC brand and whether I'll ever stay in one again.
