MLK WeekendNice beautiful hotel very clean modern but the Front desk guy had attitude and I have stayed at finest hotels . Visited this past MLK weekend . yeah the Caucasian slim guy with the glasses that works the early morning shifts he worked the whole entire weekend was rude and no one wear name tags .. I checked in early and was charged a early check in fee which was fine but dont surprise me at the hotel .. Marriott website does ask for time check in I arrived at 9am but nothing was stated there will be a early check in fee charge ..I would love to visit the hotel again but maybe Ill stay at a four seasons next door .. hope the guy gets a warning .. thats not customer service !

IF CLEAN ROOMS ARE YOUR THING....BOOK ELSEWHERE!If clean rooms and friendly staff are your thing, look elsewhere. I will concentrate on cleanliness of the rooms in this review, as to review the deplorable staff would take too much time. However, if you require BASIC customer service you will not get it at this hotel. They do not clean or restock their rooms. During a five day stay, housekeeping did not come to clean the room once. We had to call daily to beg for towels in order to shower. The trash over flowed, because no one came by to clean the room to the point where overflowing trash cans had to be sat outside the door, in order for housekeeping to empty. The fourth day I was determined to catch house keeping, so I stood in the hallway until I saw a young man with a clipboard. He identified himself as housekeeping. I explained that our room had not been cleaned and we needed toilet paper, towels and soap. I told him that I would be leaving for a few hours and asked if he could arrange for the room to be cleaned and restocked . He indicated that the room would be cleaned. When I returned later in the day, I immediately noticed that the room had not be cleaned because the stack of soiled towels, that we'd used over the four day stay, were still piled on the floor. I looked in the bathroom, still no toilet paper and the small bar of soap that was almost gone was still melting in the soap dish. No fresh towels, soap or clean linens on the bed. However, to their credit, they did empty the overflowing trash cans that had to be sat outside the door and that is exactly where they left them (outside of the door). I had hoped that they cleaned the room, because I was curious to see if the actually mopped the floors. There is no carpeting in the rooms, which I like because I find carpet unsanitary. However, when I walked on the floor without shoes the first night, I noticed that my soaks turned very black and dirty from walking on the floor. My immediate thought, was that this hotel was superficially clean. Overall, the stay at The AC Hotel Midtown was below average. The staff are not accommodating and the lack of cleanliness, particularly during a pandemic was inexcusable. Please, find yourself another place to stay. WE DID! YOU DESERVE IT!

Incredible Location, Beautiful Room, Friendly Staff, Room Lacked in Functionality, and Frustrating Parking SystemThis hotel's location is amazing. You are a short walking distance from Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, Whole Foods, and dozens of restaurants of all varieties. I was allowed a very early check-in which was not expected but appreciated. Every employee I interacted with was friendly. The parking garage is easy to find, the hotel is easy to get to, its getting to the lobby after parking that isnt so convenient. The parking system itself is frustrating, it basically didnt work and we had to call the front desk for help which isnt great when you are paying $25+ (a night?) for the service. While the room and hotel itself was aethetically pleasing the room lacked function. There was a mini fridge but apparently no microwave. Somewhere to hang clothes but no hangers. My room did not have any hand soap or hair conditioner. A few chairs but no couch. Finally, on several occasions i was asked for my room number to validate myself as a guest (in parking garage, checking out). I'd provide my room number and the hotel staff would say back to me my first name to make sure I had the right number, this was a pointless privacy risk. The staff should ask me for my room number and name and should never dislose private information with just a room number given, anyone can say a room number.

hit the spotReally enjoyed my stay here, check in staff was friendly. call me weird but I kind of liked having to be buzzed into the entrance opposed to just having the doors open to anyone. Hotel was super close to a Whole Foods which is convenient. Easy check in, clean room, and everything worked not really sure what else you need.
