  Unhelpful and unclean

  When arriving to the abode i had driven three hours from Sydney the receptionist did not show any courtesy towards me was very rude just ignored me and my family while waiting to be checked in and while the receptionist was on the phone. I also found a used up mobile phone on the double bed and also a medical testing kit and also tomato sauce on the table it was filthy luckly I stayed one night only I asked for a different room apparently booked out I asked for a refund manager couldn't be contact one the spot. But I did receive a call from the manager apologising but nothing got out of it.

  We had a nice stay

  We really enjoyed our two bedroom apartment and felt that it was very big, and there was good amenities. I wanted to mention how lovely the staff were when posting some items we left behind back to our house interstate - we really appreciated it!!

  Never again...Back to Woden Abode.

  We have visited for years to Canberra to visit family. We have stayed at Woden Abode and just loved it. Staff friendly and nothing a problem. This December we decided to use Tuggeranong Abode. Big mistake. The staff are off handed and look bored. We asked for towels as none left. Went to reception the gentle,an at reception couldnt give us fresh towels..He had no key to linen. We walked across the road and had to buy our own towels! What was advertised as a junior suite was a joke. The bed was shoved up against a window and you had to crawl across the bed to get out. The room between and robe was minute. You couldnt have two standing in there at once! The advertised extra tv stations, had none. We would never recommend this Abode from staff to room size.We sure would recommend their Woden Hotel. Not this place. The staff need a good lesson in manners and even looking interested.

  Comfortable with kitchenette

  After reading some reviews I was a bit nervous about staying here. Yes the separate bed room is tight, but Ive been in similar sized rooms and paid much more. If you have need for more than about 40cm around the bed then you wont like it. Once out of the bedroom, the living area is spacious, 2.5 seat sofa, 2 lounge seats, side table, plus a small meals table with 2 chairs. With space to move. Electric stove top, electric oven, dish-drawer store dish washer, and the large fridge freezer in the cupboard. Down near the entry is a bathroom, although it does not have a bath, it does have a large shower, toilet, and usual hand basin with mirrored cupboards to store your toiletries in. Behind the other doors in here are the washer, dryer, and wash trough. Laundry liquid, washing liquid, and dish washer powder were replenished daily. Level one seem to have a few rooms with a terrace, which I found a great place to eat and relax.

  Great Location

  Having family on the south side we chose Tuggeranong Abode as it is close to where we needed to go. We arrived at 17:45pm, reception closes at 18:00. Reception had already closed when we arrived therefore we had to call the 1300 number to be able to access our room card. The apartment complex is in a great location - close to public transport (if required), shopping mall across the road with cafes / sports clubs in close proximity. Underground secure car park. One room out of the two rooms we had was a little tight to maneuver. No place for bag / luggage aside from the floor. Some luggage holds would have been ideal. Housekeeping came in daily to replenish whatever needed to be replenished, and made the beds - a little added extra we enjoyed.
