  Still good value

  Location and value you can't beat. Didn't have carpark for one of the nights, although I had booked in advance. There is off street parking (paid until 5.30pm) and free around the corner...... and being CBR I consider that safe. But was annoying. This is no a high end hotel, and does not put itself out as that. But if you want good, well priced accommodation in great location, easy access to good restaurants in the block, and just a short walk in to Kingston foreshaw this is fine. Is new, and I noted with interest that there are signs of wear and tear already in corriders etc. Rooms fine - still no full length mirrors! Will be booking again.

  48 hours in Kingston

  This is a great hotel in a great area. Across the road from so many good cafes and restaurants gives this hotel an ideal location . Easy access to all of Canberras attractions and a short drive or walk to the new Kingston Foreshore and The Dock . Fast check in with efficient staff had us in the room 10 minutes after arriving . The rooms are large and well appointed . We had an Executive Balcony Room on the top floor , with large comfortable bed , well stocked kitchenette , small balcony that brings the outside into the room . The bathroom while on the smaller side had good light and amazing water pressure from the rain forest shower. If youre looking for a weekend away in one of Canberras leafy suburbs then look at the Abode Kingston its a great choice.

  Great place to stay

  This hotel has a great location near the Kingston shopping centre and easy walking distance to the Kingston Foreshore. The small kitchen area was useful. CSR parking underneath was appreciated. We were on the first floor and it was very quiet.

  Great location

  We really loved the location which was a priority for us. It was also very clean which we appreciated. Our room was very compact (we had a tiny balcony which was nice for the fresh air but not big enough for a chair) and the bathroom was extremely small, plus one side of the shower door had been removed for some reason so the floor was awash with water when showering, and we had to use our bath towels to mop the water up (no hand towel provided). Also only 3 pillows between the two of us, so although we had booked for two people, we wondered if the double room we booked was actually only intended for one.

  Wonderful Stay

  Stayed with husband for 4 nights to spend Xmas with our older son. Terrific location and everything a short walk (or electric scooter) away. Supermarket 90 sec walk and many cafes and restaurants in the area. We booked a room with kitchenette and was really user friendly. Bathroom small but good shower. Super clean and the best hotel bed Ive ever had. Took a photo so I can make that my next bed I buy. Literally only downsides were that the bathroom floor got quite wet from the shower and the car park an extra charge. Would 100% stay here again and would bring my doggos with me as it is pet friendly.
