  It's okay.

  The owner and his daughter are exceptionally helpful. The cleaning staff work like Trojans. The hotel is clean and tidy, if not a little dated. But overall when you've got good customer services, it makes up for a lot. We've got a rather boisterous dog and they couldnt be kinder or more accommodating to us.

  interesting building and very clean and comfortable

  The staff are very welcoming but not effusive which we liked.They could not have been kinder or more helpful and did their best to accommodate everyone's needs. This is not a 'boutique' type hotel with expensive interior design but we don't look for that we have other priorities. The room was clean but perhaps an extra comfortable chair might have been good.It got it right in all the areas we care about.

  Nice Place

  The hotel is some distance from the port - get a 41/42 bus from the Port to Cobo Bay/Vazon Bay. The hotel meets most of the expectations that any hotel should offer - cleanliness, good breakfast (if on offer), friendly staff, a shower that works, quiet room. However the bed was far too soft for my liking, and the shower needs modernising - badly. The chair was non too comfy either. BTW, if the hotel reads this. Not too happy with your key security.

  Decent hotel at reaonable prices

  Clean room with all facilities. TV tea making and on suite. Clean room and towels changed every day. Staff very helpful and found me room with easier access. No lift if you have a room on the 1st floor. Breakfast at £8.50 is very good. Good place to catch busesa round the island. No evening meal and no local restaurants or cafes I could find. Need to a short bus ride into town. Can get anywhere from here

  Kitchen noise woke me up very early each day

  After my first night I awoke at 6:30 to the sound of an extractor fan starting right outside my window. This appeared to be connected to the kitchen below. The fan ran all day and all the following night and at 6:30 the following morning I awoke to the sound of loud voices and empty bottles being rattled in the kitchen below. A nearby room that others in my family were staying in was fine so I guess I was just unlucky to get the noisy room. Still cost me the full rate though. The hotel and the staff are decent enough but it's a good 20 minute walk up hill from the centre of town. They ran out of eggs at breakfast time and are quite strict about meal times. Don't turn up 1 minute late and expect to get a cooked breakfast.
