  Stunning location and comfortable too

  We stayed at Aaronlee Retreat for two nights and would have liked to stay longer. Kirsten and Kevin were very friendly and welcoming, and always accessible - nothing was too much trouble. The spa suite was spacious and beautifully furnished with the majority in a type of french antique style. The bed was a little firm for me but my husband loved it. I really loved having the separate bedroom as I am an early waker and could close the bedroom door while I made myself an early cup of tea in the kitchen. We were supplied with a basket of fresh eggs, bread, butter, jams, cereals, milk etc for a very generous breakfast. The step up in to the spa bath to access the shower could be quite challenging for anyone who has mobility problems so just ask for a different type of room in that case. It was obvious that the gardens are a labour of love with many pretty flowering plants and shrubs. But the view from our unit and more so outside on the back lawn looking down the valleys at far away mountains and as far as the Gold Coast skyscrapers was breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting in the swing chair with a glass of wine and just taking it all in.

  Visiting tambourine Mt. Staying in Aaronlee Retreat

  We had a relaxed weekend spent in Aaronlee retreat while experiencing great things, Mt Tambourine had to offer. Spent two nights and Kirsten who is the manager there, helped me a lot to plan the trip in advance by suggesting things to do, and organising the wine tour we did on the second day even. She was really helpful and we were warmly welcomed. The suite was nice, neat and clean, with all the things you need. Actually we did not have to ask anything extra from them. And then the view you get in the morning of the mountains... that's spectacular...both the mornings we did not want to miss the view,so both mornings we had a cuppa enjoying the view.. We recommend Aaronlee to anyone who wants a relaxing stay in Tambourine Mt. closer to the nature..

  Bliss on the mountain

  We arrived at Aaronlee Retreat to a cheery welcome from Kirsten and our 5 days, definitely delightful. Our hosts were very informative and absolutely nothing seemed to be a problem. All we needed to do was ask. . It was wonderful waking up to the sweet ponies, peacocks and delightful Bonnie dog. Our complimentary breakfast of bacon and eggs helped start the day as we met round the barbecue to plan our adventures. We were a group of 15 mature age friends and everyone seemed to agree we would be coming back to Aaronlee Retreat

  Little haven

  Lovely place. Not modern, but clean and comfortable. People very friendly. Views stunning, you can see both hills and the Gold Coast. Close to lots of activities, glow worm caves, winery, thunderbird egg park and nature walks.

  Thumbs up Aaronlee Resort - magical, peaceful, a perfect getaway.

  This is a must visit spot. For anyone wanting some peace and quiet, and an amazing way to de-stress and enjoy each other. Getting back to nature is the name of the game at Aaronlee Resort. The resort is picture perfect and the views are magical and limitless both day and night. Plenty of green open spaces perfect for a game of boule, skittles or laying out a blanket and chilling out under the canopy of enormous trees. A great selection of card, board and outdoor games are all available to use. The grounds are dotted with swinging love seats and picnic tables, and the fire pit is a must have in this beautiful spot, a highlight for sure. The rooms are clean and cosy, including a fire place for ambience and warmth. An awesome place for families with kids who enjoy swimming, games and adorable in-residence miniature horses (theyre are 2, very cute). The DIY breakfast (included in your room rate) of bacon, eggs and toast was great too. The staff are diligent and very accommodating. Kirsten (the owner), provided first class customer service and is friendly, down to earth and a source of all good things to enjoy on the mountain. We have already re booked for July to enjoy it all again as a couple. We will definitely be organising a group booking for us, our kids and our 6 grandkids - cant wait. Well done Aaronlee. Youve nailed it!
