  Touch of Paradise Resort

  We are fortunate to be staying at a friend's apartment at this resort. However, it's available through tour operators. The development is on a hillside just above Akbuk. The last 300m of the road is not made up yet, but don't let that put you off booking here. The apartments and villas are well proportioned and in a secure garden complex, with olive tress and oleander planted in grass between block-paved roads and paths. Beautiful swimming pool with childrens pool. Views over Abkuk and the sheltered bay. Lovely sunsets in the evenings. Nearest airport is Bodrum. Picked up a hire car, but had to drive in the dark due to a late flight. Roads are generally good, but signposting not clear, so make sure you check the route and have a proper map. Akbuk is advertised as 45 minutes from Bodum Irport, but it's definitely an hour and took us longer in the dark. However, it's well worth the drive.

  Beautiful and peaceful location

  We booked through a last minute company and had been expecting somewhere a little more accessible to town and shops. The villa was as described although we were promised wifi and this was not available. Reviews I had read in advance of our trip, mentioned a 20 minute walk into town but the villa was a good 40 minutes walk from town which was too far for my elderly mother to walk. Thankfully taxis were not too expensive. Akbuk itself was a lovely little place and we enjoyed eating at beachside restaurants watching the sun go down. Prices were much cheaper than nearby Altinkum. Overall we enjoyed the peace and quiet of this location despite the distance from town.

  My summer break

  Lovely clean apartment had a few icups but sorted straight away and Chris the owner was great we had a nice month out there hot but good abit hard to find but we soon got to know where we were the only thing we didnt have a fob to open gate but never waited to long to get in pool was lovely and clean we was there when it was baram Turkish bank hoilday so it was busy for those 4 days but after that it was lovely and quite

  Wonderful place for familys

  Great place. Clean, good service and great apartments. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 weeks. Perfect for a family with 2 kids. Close to Akbuk Centrum. Only negative aspect is the road to the community. Stones and bumbs.

  Says what it does on the tin

  What a great place with a superb pool for the kids and the apartment we stayed is,was clean and spacious. ( 10 ER ) Plenty of restaurants nearby with a great beach. You will require a car to get around and there were plenty of interesting sites to visit. Would definitely recommend to visit and will go back again.
