  Do not stay here!

  Flew sticking down out of a hole in the roof where the fire used to be... spider webs everywhere. Left as soon as we arrived and got a refund. Spoke with operator who said "surely your not afraid of a few spider webs"

  Pictures don't say a 1000 words

  Don't waste your money. Small, pokey, cold, so out dated its ridiculous. Sure there's a fire place but no wood. Doors don't lock. Self contained kitchen ha ha ha. It consisted of bucket for a basin, a single tiny hot plate and a griller oven from the 1940s. Electrics would give any sparky a heart attack. Water pump goes on and off all night like a drill grinding tiles in the floor. Bed was ???? Maybe a queen but on a double bed frame. This cottage was nothing like the lovely photos on the net that were taken about 35 years ago. Don't do it people. Spend your hard earned money else where!!!

  Does exactly what it says on the tin - it's a classic cottage!

  We booked to stay one night at the classic cottage, while we were visiting Port Arthur. In all of the booking information you are told that there is no wifi and no television, and this is what makes this accommodation classic and a relaxing stay. We easily found the cottage, as Denis had written us a note on the door. There were a few other notes around the place, and recommendations on where to eat in the area. There was some historical information about the cottage, and a lovely view. The cottage was clean and the shower was hot and powerful. It is a perfect place to stay in the area.

  Port arthur cottage

  Good little cottage with all you need to feel right at home. Awesome and quiet location with a good view of nature. Close walk to a restaurant and a 5 minute drive to the port arthur historic site. Very happy with this place.

  Lovely cosy cottage

  I loved staying at the classic cottage. Was just what me and my partner were looking for and more!!just a lovelvy cosy wooden cabin,full of character and an interesting story. So nice and warm,with a fire place lots of wood and some board games and books to make it perfect. Just wonderful woth an amazing view of a lake just through the window.thanks Denis for letting us stay there. We would have loved to stay longer if we could. Definitely going back sometime
