  Amazing place, warming staff

  I spent 2 weeks of my vacation in this lovely, confortable and well located B&B. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Need to have some clothes cleaned and staff help on this immediately. The place has a nice fresh breakfest, clean rooms, sheets and towels. We could also enjoy the swimming pool, the WIFI was really satisfactory to call by Skype, including.

  amazing B&B - highly recommended

  We stayed here over new year - very busy time of year in the Durban area. This place is outstanding - huge room with kitchenette, large bathroom, very comfy living area. Lovely swimming pool and communal areas and the location is fab - it's away from the busy centre but still a nice walk. Fantastic value for money - would stay here again.

  Fantastic little place

  Fantastic little spot in Umhlanga. Warm with large rooms. Open and spacious. Well situated within the area. Great pool area for barbeques. 5 minute drive to the beach. Has a trampoline for kids which helped with the kids once they wanted to keep active after coming back from the beach.

  Some attention required

  Booked in here to stay for 4 days. Had 1 king size bed and 2 double bed. Had small kitchen. Bathroom was adequate but could have been cleaned properly. Towels were musty and could not be used. Pool and garden area was great. Check in was terrible. Could not get access and another guest let us in. Then the host, without even greeting us, asked us how we got in. No contact number was given to us, so that we could arrange access. Our check in was during the afternoon so it was not at an inconvenient time. However, it seemed inconvenient for the hostess. Aside from not being collegiate, she booked us in, like she was doing us a favor. She did not look happy in her job, making it a very stressful situation. Something u don't want at the start of ur holiday. Great location of the lodge. Breakfast was ok. I really did not feel welcome at this lodge. There are some maintenance issues that need to be sorted out. Bedding was a bit old and tired. Dusty and musty smell in room. There needs to be a management presence. A relaxing ambience needs to be created. I would not suggest this place to future travelers, if u are looking for a relaxing atmosphere. It should be ok if it is only a budgeted overnight stay.
