  Small, dirty but good location.

  We stayed for 6 nights at the price of Malaysian Ringgit 1050. That is RM175 a night and about KRW52500. That is already discounted. I've talked to several Korean friends and they have agreed that this price is too expensive for a guesthouse. We believe we have been overcharged. The service has been horrible. Our room was not made when we arrived. There is no proper bed sheets, and we only received it when we made a complain on the third night. And even so, when we ask them to clean the room again, they took the bed sheets away and did not replace it. We found yellow stains on the bed sheets (look like piss) which we believe is from the previous tenant. There were old receipts of traveling places (also from previous tenant) which is all over the room. The floors were not swept and is dusty. The room is ridiculously small. The stairs to go up to the third floor is very VERY unsafe. There are dust webs everywhere and small flies in our toilet. There is a kitchen to prepare food. The pans are never washed and the kitchen is dirty. Even the disposable cups are stained. We were promised fresh juice and milk everyday. We had none. We believe the money we paid for "good service" does not apply here. The location is strategic in a way. It was near restaurants (which means it gets really noisy at night), has 7-eleven and CU around the corner plus two convenience stores around. The metro station is a five minute walk away.

  Great Location, Great Price

  First of all, compared to other guesthouses or hostels, it was soooooo clean!! The room was a bit small but it was good enough for my short term stay. The manager was really nice too. We had a small talk with a beer at the dining area and I really enjoyed it. He got me some snacks too!! XD The location was right in front of 'Gwangjang Market' and it was like only 3mins walk away from the subway station. Many great local restaurants and tourists spots like Gyeongbokgung, N Tower, etc. are nearby! Trust me, you will love it here! :D

  Clean, Hospitable & Great Location

  The guesthouse is situated on the top floor of a tower block, but there's a large sign on the outside, making it very easy to find. The rooms are decent sized, clean and the bathrooms have hot water and a powerful shower. There's a small fridge in your room, or a larger one in the communal kitchen, with lots of kitchen equipment available to use if needed. It is right next to a tube station, so you can easily travel across Seoul if needed. It's a short walk to the Gyeongbokgung Palace or to Bukchon Hanok Village, both very interesting sights to see in Seoul. Overall it's a great place to stay, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the location is ideal and it's reasonably priced.
