  Boutique guest home and beautiful location

  This establishment is a small, boutique, upscale property which is located on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The view and sunsets are gorgeous. All of the staff (Dirk, Fein and other professionals insure that your stay is perfect. They book all of your activities, restaurant reservations and Uber cars. We felt very spoilt. This beautiful hotel is just down the street from Ellerman House which in my opinion is less personal and corporate. Nothing was amiss and we highly recommend 21 Nettleton!!

  Disappointing & stay at 21 Nettleton, but hey who cares

  1) Stayed at King Room where shower is enclosed only with half glass, other half is left open. I had to step on a smooth and polished wooden floor (bath mat or wooden surface was too slippery). 2) Face cloths on rack were 3 different brands and 3 different colours: white, off white and grey I am assuming that they were all properly washed? 3) Brown marks on almost all towels which probably should have been disposed. 4) On day 3, there was no hot water in the shower. I texted 21 on their mobile ap. and after +- 15 minutes, Timo arrived advising that there was a problem with hot water that morning and that we must wait for 30 minutes. Friend waited for 30min but almost burned himself because boiling water came out after 2/3 minutes. No water on day 4 until this was brought to the attention of staff. 5) During our first breakfast morning, we were served with SELECTED meat/cheese/ fruit options/bakery options + yoghurt + choices of hot breakfast & Bircher muesli After chatting to Jabien and pointing out how "mean" the breakfast appeared, we were given additional meats - not that we used it, but at least it was there. I fully understand that you dont want to waste food but you should also not skimp on breakfast. 6) I brought a packet of strawberries and pomegranate with me. These items were stored in the fridge and suddenly they was gone. Timo offered to buy new strawberries and pomegranate which we declined. Staff was very friendly and helpful with amazing views.

  One of our favorite hotels EVER

  We stayed at 21 Nettleton on the first leg or our honeymoon trip, and were SO happy we did. The house and property are stunning, and centrally located to the best spots in Cape Town. We spent our days hiking nearby (Lion's Head can be reached on foot from the hotel, Table Mountain a ~10 min drive), driving the coast, jumping to restaurants downtown, and touring the city, all with ease. Our room was gorgeous, with beautiful views each morning while we ate breakfast on the balcony. To top matters off, the staff was fantastic and we truly enjoyed chatting with the team whenever we were at the hotel. We HIGHLY recommend 21 Nettleton for your Cape Town trip!

  OMG WOW

  We spent two beautiful weeks at 21 Nettleton and it was fabulous from the time we entered until our departure. The decor, views, staff absolutely fabulous. Staff going over and above at all times. We was actually very sad to say goodbye. We would have no hesitation in returning or recommending. Indulge yourself and visit.

  Hidden gem in Cape Town

  21 Nettleton is a true hidden gem in Cape Town - its location is superb with stunning views over the 12 Apostles yet also so close to get to all of the fantastic restaurants / V&A waterfront etc. We would definitely recommend staying here for long enough to spend some time enjoying the beautiful property, including the pool and garden. We had a private dinner on our final night which was absolutely stunning - Chef Ronald and all of the staff went out of their way to make this part of our honeymoon so very special. Dirk and his team had fantastic recommendations for us all over Cape Town and there is an iPad in the room which makes communicating so easy at any time of day. Would highly recommend and we cant wait to return!
