  Nice food, lacks atmosphere

  All very Covid secure. Temperature checked on arrival and contact details recorded. Fairly uninspiring pub, but staff friendly We had scampi and chips - which was very tasty. Unfortunately they had run out of apple pie, so didnt get a dessert.

  Great stay in friendly, safe hotel

  Our group of golfers just stayed two nights at the 19th Hole and found it to be an excellent hotel. Yes, Covid restrictions in place, but they are well managed and it made for a safe stay. The hotel is very near all the Carnoustie golf and the town centre, so walking around is ideal (especially with the wonderful weather we had), and the staff, service, food, drinks, everything really, were just spot on for our group. The 10pm last orders, perhaps shortened the night but that also extended the day and made our Carnoustie golf weekend one to remember. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, especially for golfers, and will return for another weekend with the guys, hopefully when things are a bit more relaxed, and we can enjoy it all the more.   Warning Flat in 1 Mile Away from Hotel

  I booked the luxury flat and was about to travel to it a few weeks ago. As the flat comes on on their website I automatically assumed (as you would) that the flat was connected or at least within a 1 minute walk to the hotel. BUT NO - the flat is a modern flat 1 mile away so you have no access to hotel for a quick beer. There is nothing on the website to say the flat is a mile away. Surely if you find a hotel and they advertise a flat they should say the flat is not anywhere near the hotel? Please update your website !!

  A little gem !

  I booked in late notice after travelling up 5 hours to play golf.From the moment I got in the hotel I was welcome with open arms. Great service. The best breakfast and the best value too. Well done 19th Hole ..you doing a great job in difficult times.

  I had booked a room at the 19th Hole in Carnoustie. I tried to phone them on the Friday and Saturday before travelling to see if my room was still ok due to the COVID Pandemic and got no answer so I decided to email them on the Saturday morning still no reply the car was packed and we were ready to leave. By 14:00hrs we decided that since there was no reply that we could not travel the 150 miles as we then assumed they were closed. But they still took our money and are refusing to repay me my money. They stated on the Monday through email that they were open but the bar and restaurant were closed and I had a two days to cancel my reservation if I wanted. But my point is they could not answer my emails until the Monday two days after my original stay but wont refund me this is a nice way to rip people off dont answer phones or emails and we can make money and force them to come back at a later date. We have stayed there before with no issues but will never return again unless they pay me back my money. Colin Petrie
