  Clean, Cheap, Friendly Staff

  First, the location of this hotel is good and bad. Good because it is located on the street of the Ningxia night market, which is a foodie's haven. Bad because it is quite a walk from the nearest metro stop, which is Zhongshan station. So it may be quite a challenge to look for the hotel. But I guess the redeeming values of this hotel are it's clean, cheap and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms, though, can get quite claustrophobic, especially if the one given to you doesn't have a window. I also had a difficult time sleeping because the single bed I slept on was quite uncomfortable and the air conditioning fluctuated.

  The best accomodation I could choose

  Located 15 min. walking from the Taipei train and bus station and few minutes from the Zhongshan metro stop, this is a small but so incredibly nice hotel. Spotless, dorm rooms are top quality with big space and facilities (also a free pc with internet access). Each bed is equipped with TV flat screen TV with lots of international channels. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The place is quiet, located near the colorful and not noisy night market, very andy place for eating and walking around. I am very happy I chose this place to stay in Taipei

  Spotless clean, full facilities except laundry &ironing

  Well located at the start of Ninxia Night Market -tasty &cheap. Bus in the circle, 25m right side of Starbucks, to National Palace Mueum. Small room but well cleaned, feminine design, universal plugs, big bathroom with shower cabin door, well lighted. Good staff which arranged us Tayouan airport transfer for a fair 1000TWD early morning. Difficult for the night staff to refund the guarantee blocked from my card, if I paid all by cash or card at arrival! Take care: the guarantee unblock takes more than 1 month for an EU card (from outside Asia)! No laundry & ironing service for 1 month traveler, just do-yourself laundromat, not worth to spend hours there. Late evening got a taxi from Taipei Main Station at 100TWD, not easy to find the right exit to the circle.
