  Relax en Sóller

  És un hotel con 6 habitaciones. La casa es preciosa y las habitaciones también. Pedir la habitación 4 se ve la Sierra de Tramuntana. El desayuno es muy bueno y cada día es distinto. Hay una pequeña piscina muy agradable.

  The best

  What can I say?! Our stay at 1902 Townhouse was fantastic from start to finish - so much so that we were gutted when it had to come to an end. We fell in love with the building itself which is so beautifully restored; every single design detail has been clearly thought out and the outside pool area is the perfect place to relax on a hot day. If this wasnt enough, Peter and Martin were the most hospitable hosts and the daily 3 course breakfast was a dream. Nothing ever seemed like too much for them - I loved the loose green tea they bought after I asked for some one morning! In short, if youre ever in Sóller, or planning to visit Majorca in the near future, you NEED to stay here! Thank you Peter and Martin for making our holiday so perfect!

  Every bit as good as the reviews suggest

  I don't really have much to add to what others have already said in reviews here. I can simply confirm: how beautiful the townhouse is - elegant and stunningly decorated and restored; how peaceful the garden and pool is; how spotlessly clean and superbly maintained the rooms are; how great the breakfasts are; how the honesty bar is such great value; and most of all, how kind, helpful and friendly Pete and Martin are as hosts. We visited as a group of seven, and although in all honesty 1902 is probably better geared up for couples than for groups (we were conscious of not being too noisy playing cards in the public areas after coming back in an evening, and of not hogging the pool area too much), we were made to feel very welcome and all three generations of our family very much enjoyed being there. My only other observation (not a criticism) is that this is by its nature a house in a town and so comes with the nocturnal noises that that entails. Although Carrer de sa Mar is by no means a busy street, it is narrow with tall buildings and so amplifies the noise emanating from the highly enthusiastic scooterists of Soller - as most of the rooms overlook the street, very light sleepers might want to bring earplugs!

  Lucky us...

  We came away from our stay at 1902 Townhouse feeling fortunate that we had had the opportunity to experience such a wonderful time there to unwind in, to be looked after by top notch hosts, in beautiful surroundings, and having enjoyed their delicious breakfasts every morning which really set us up for the day. The loving restoration of the townhouse is illustrated in a small book in the entrance hall although it cannot really do it justice in terms of what incredible attention to detail and hard work that must have gone in to creating the home they now share. The architectural details and original pieces salvaged and sympathetically restored, tie the house to its origins but without it losing any sense of luxury or modern convenience. Every need is catered more than adequately for at 1902. We didnt want for anything other than a bit more time there. We never tend to visit anywhere more than once as we feel there are always more places to discover and experience but 1902 Townhouse could well be an exception. Rebecca and Johnny.

  Wonderful

  A charming stylish small hotel close to the centre of Soller. This old building has been sympathetically renovated to a very high standard. Our top floor room was spacious and had a large bathroom with walk in shower, twin sinks and a stylish bath. No need to reiterate all the previous excellent reviews. Everything exceeded our expectations. Our hosts Pete and Martin were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts delicious. The only downside.....the property has been bought by a wealthy family who are turning it back into a home. We would have loved to return here for another stay and wish Pete and Martin all the best with their future plans.
